Our sponsors are considered the backbone to our team. These are the go to people for any help whether it be financial such as giving money to buy more parts, or physical by letting us use their facilities or sending mentors over to help us with our mission.

There has been student interest in starting a FIRST Robotics Team at Ballston Spa High School for a number of years.  Since we did not have a team, a limited number students were able to get involved by traveling to other local teams.  It was through the generosity of Ballston Spa National Bank that allowed us to register and start a team this year.

 We are able to offer the opportunity to learn about Robotics to a larger number of students in our community.  Once we received the initial registration fee and announced our plans, other businesses in the community have come forward to be sponsors. 

This has transformed our school district by inspiring a larger scale Partnership for Innovation in Education program to help implement other programs that cannot be offered through our district budget but is important for preparing our students for success.
